Dr. Oleg Vorontsov, PhD. to Join Ambient Corporation Advisory Board
Adviser and Special Consultant to Former Russian President BorisYeltsin Election Campaign is to Direct Ambient Powerline Telecommunications (PLT) Business and Operations in thePersian Gulf States Ambient Corporation (OTC BB:ABTG) announced today that Dr. Oleg Vorontsov PhD., former adviser and special consultant to Russian President Boris Yeltsin's presidential campaign and former advisor to the Russian Olympic Committee, will join Ambient Corporation's Advisory Board effective immediately. Vorontsov, who holds a PhD. in international economics from the Academy of Science of the Ukraine, will also assume responsibility for Ambient's Powerline Telecommunications technology (PLT) operations and business in the Persian Gulf states. The Ukrainian born Vorontsov speaks seven languages and has had an extensive career in both global business and international sports. Possessor of one of the world's largest private collections of Olympic memorabilia, Vorontsov has served since 1993 as a member of the International Olympic Committee Commission. These tests established successful connectivity from the electric distribution closet, to the furthest apartments on all 8 floors. In addition connectivity between each floor was successfully proven. Throughput data rates of up to 8 Mbps were recorded, with raw speed exceeding 25 Mbps.On January 31. 2001 Ambient announced a development and licensing agreement with Cisco Systems Inc.
